Are aliens real?

I’ve watched a lot of documentaries and heard stories about whether aliens are real. One documentary that stood out for me was the Bob Lazar about he’s experience working in Area 51. It got me thinking.
 
I have seen many stories and things on the TV and the internet about unexplained sightings that many say could potentially be aliens but it has never been proven.

I believe there is something else living out there somewhere aside from just humans but would want solid proof before I believed it was aliens.
 
They probably are. If they weren't, the government wouldn't try so hard to cover up the fact they exist. Just my two cents on the matter. Take Area51 for example. If Aliens didn't exist, why would A51 be so heavily guarded? What's there if not for Aliens?

I agree with you and there have been government hearings recently in the USA about the existence of aliens. I think if they didnt exist at all then why would there be hearings about the subject.

X-Files was one of the coolest shows of the 90's. Love it! I have GTA 5, but used a hack so I could go right to GTA On-line without completing the first chapter. lol

@FallenAngel As for aliens. Can you be more specific? If you mean "little green men", or "Greys" with big oversized heads and eyes and a slit mouth, then no. Some form of off-world life, even if single celled, or something we may not even recognize as alive, yes probably. It's human arrogance to assume "aliens" would even remotely look anything like us.

However, some people think they are us from the distant future. Perhaps! But why would we come back to a time when humans are still basically hairless apes?

Right, and some of them have gone public with their beliefs. Why would anyone that high in rank risk their reputation? Gives off the impression they've seen things.

I don't doubt there are other lifeforms out there, but I think the level of sentience and communication ability of humans should not be the benchmark.
 
If "aliens" were really visiting us, we'd have concrete evidence by now. It's no different from ghosts, Bigfoot, etc. There are sooo many reports of these things, but actual quantifiable proof continues to evade even the best investigators.
